Yesterday saw Dirt Factory’s first ever trade show take place with great success. The event was organised by Hotlines Europe who filled the Dirt Factory with a wide range of bikes and products, and welcomed dealers from all over the country.
This is the first trade event that has ever been held at an indoor bike park in the UK so was a new experience for us, Hotlines and for the dealers themselves.
“Dirt Factory was the perfect venue for our trade only launch event. A flexible space that was easy to setup and all adjacent to pristinely sculptured indoor trails. Visitors and staff had a fantastic time with the opportunity to see product and test on location, all a stone’s throw from Manchester Piccadilly train station.” David Flynn, Head of Sales and Marketing, Hotlines.
Our BigAirBag was rolled up to make way for the bikes to arrive in vast numbers, from Ragley’s latest hardcore hardtails, to Nukeproof’s full suspension enduro rigs, and it wasn’t long before the dealers started to make their way in.
The dealers were given the opportunity to view upgrades to existing bikes and be some of the first to see new bikes from the different brands. However, being held at the Dirt Factory meant this was a trade show with a difference. Hotlines provided a fleet of demo bikes from brands including Nukeproof and NS Bikes, giving dealers the opportunity to try the bikes that could soon be in their shops, as well as experience the trails here at Dirt Factory.
Thankfully there was no chance of exhaustion from riding thanks to the food and drink provided by Hotlines. Stone fired pizzas followed by a full scale BBQ, paired with real Scottish ale on tap meant the show could go on all day.
We hope that everyone that visited enjoyed the day as much as we did, and we hope that this was just the first of many events to take place at the Dirt Factory Pop-Up.
