Well, what a whirlwind two weeks! On day 16 of 30 we reached our initial £300k crowd fund target. Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this important milestone. The team are blown away with the support we have received as well as everyone’s excitement around getting the Dirt Factory doors open.
We set out with the vision of opening the UK’s first indoor bike park. Now that we have exceeded our initial crowd fund target, the Dirt Factory plan is strengthening and we are aiming to create an even better business from the outset.
Our new overfunding target is £450k and this will be the maximum we will raise through this round. Raising additional funds will be extremely useful to the business. More start-up capital in the business will mean we can grow Dirt Factory Manchester at a much quicker rate. We will be able to implement some of our business development plans earlier than expected, increasing customer visits and revenue. This will potentially enable us to generate more capital to re-invest and open new centres faster than anticipated.
In terms of motivation of the Dirt Factory management team, this aspect is unchanged and is only getting stronger. We want to grow Dirt Factory as fast and sustainably as possible and open more facilities around the UK and Europe.
Massive thanks for your interest and support so far. Dirt Factory is a business founded with the support from the crowd, and we would like to turn to the crowd to help us reach our new target. Very best wishes,
Dan and the Dirt Factory team
