So what’s been going on at Dirt Factory? Since our last blog post a lot as happened. If you’re a regular on our Facebook page you may have noticed out business update posts every now and then, if you have missed them then here is the low down…
The Dirt Factory team have been working away behind the scenes pulling together a solid business plan package (BPP), this is a time consuming exercise but is a necessary step if we are going to turn Dirt Factory into a reality. Once we are at a stage where we can shoot bullets at our BPP then will be the time when we can take this project to the next level – funding?
What else has been going on?
I was contacted a couple of weeks back by a graphic designer called Andy (top dude and keen mtb’er), we ended up meeting in my local pub and having a proper mint chat about the whole image/brand that is Dirt Factory. Andy is mega creative and full of ideas, great person to know. Andy is currently working on enhancing the Dirt Factory image, he believes (and we do too) that a project like Dirt Factory deserves to fulfil its potential to its fullest in terms of the way the business looks to the general public e.g. website, logo etc. What we have learnt is that Dirt Factory is on a fast developing journey and certain aspects have become out of date as the project has moved on. So Andy demonstrated a few of his ideas and explained how Dirt Factory can benefit from being creative. So hopefully in the near future you will notice a few changes. Sweet!
Also, last week a media and production company called Maia Media http://maiamedia.co.uk/ contacted us. Really nice people too and again keen mtb’ers. We are now working together to produce a short documentary film about Dirt factory so that we can visually illustrate what we are all about at Dirt Factory.
