The whole Dirt Factory team would like to thank the following organisations for their support in creating the Dirt Factory Pop-Up at Mayfield, Manchester.
Danielle Doherty CSR Manager VINCI Construction UK said;
“When we heard Dirt Factory were looking for assistance to create the UK’s first indoor mountain bike park, we were keen to help.
From fitting out the bike shop, to installing the new vinyl flooring, and boarding up walls, VINCI’s team and supply chain were happy to volunteer their time and materials to make the project a huge success.
We’re proud to have contributed in bringing off-road mountain biking into the city. It actively promotes health and fitness across all age groups whilst creating a strong community hub with cycling at its heart.”
All the work was done in kind to support the Dirt Factory social inclusion targets. The Dirt Factory Pop-Up aims to engage local communities, create new opportunities and enable riders to have fun whatever the weather, whilst becoming more confident and more active on their bikes.
Whether you’re new to riding, an experienced mountain biker, BMXer, commuter or hobby cyclist; more people on bikes is good for everyone. Dirt Factory is another reason for people to cycle in the city and the Dirt Factory team want people to ride into the city as part of their everyday lives.
